Focusing on regional history, the Museum of North Texas History has a number of objects relating to early ranching as well as a horse-drawn buggy and a collection of over 500 cowboy hats. The museum is located in Wichita Falls near the historic Wichita Falls Railroad Museum. A 3,000-piece collection of military memorabilia spans from the Civil War to the present and the museum often holds special temporary exhibits.

Open Tue. - Thurs., 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Sat., 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
